New USA Baseball Bat Standards

On January 1, 2018 the new USA Baseball bat standard was put into effect by Little League International. The new bat standard brings several changes for baseball players from Tee Ball to Junior League. First, only bats bearing the official USA Baseball logo will be permitted for use in games and practices. Any non-wood bats used in previous seasons will not be permitted. Additionally, players may use USA Baseball approved bats with barrel diameters up to 2 and 5/8 inch.
